About Us
Moyan Li
I was born and raised in Beijing. At 17, I moved to Toronto alone and spent six years studying and growing there. After returning to China, I chose to settle in Anji — a small town tucked in the mountains of Zhejiang. It’s here that I got married, started a family, and found a slower, more grounded way of living.
Over time, I came to know many local tea farmers. Most of them have worked these hills for generations, raising their families through the seasons of the tea harvest. Their stories and their way of life made me see tea differently — not as a product, but as a way of being.
Jiahang Ma
Jiahang Ma was born into a tea family in Anji. His grandfather planted the first tea bushes by hand, clearing the hillside with simple tools. His father carried on the work, deepening the craft and teaching Jiahang how to read the land. For Jiahang, tea is not a business. It’s home. Now, as the third generation, Jiahang continues the work — not to scale it up, but to keep it true. His focus has always been the same: grow good tea, treat the land with care, and make sure every leaf carries the story it came from.
